Sunshine Rain

Stormy

You are the light to my stormy days

Ever since I was a child I have loved the rain

The cold air and moist wind always helped numb the pain

The tropical warmth with the cool breeze

I love the rain

The gloominess of the sea

The overcast paradise with palm trees

Florida is my home but ever since you left

I lost my sunshine, victim of theft

I feel as though my sunshine has been stolen

Ripped from my heart, wounds wide open

Not many places can bring light to storm

Feel the cold breeze and the suns warmth

They overlap and contradict

They shouldn't fit yet they just seem to click

You are like warm sand and sunshine

Tropical and fun, beautiful and mine

I am like water droplets and misty trees

Cold and cozy, the lock to ur key

Florida is the sunshine state

Like sun and rain, we are destined by fate

Nothing quite feels so surreal

Like rays of light and cold rain that makes you feel

Dazed

Euphoric

Amazed

Restored

I've always wanted to leave Florida

You've always wanted to stay

I love Oregon's misty weather

You think Florida's is better

I love forests and cold rain

You love warmth and sand domains

You are red

I am blue

You love me

And well, I love you

We are so different yet so perfect

Red and blue have that kind of effect

Polar opposites yet create beauty

Purple hues child of amber red and navy blue

You are sunshine

I am midnight rain

You have always been happy

I've always been in pain

You have shown me the beauty of the sun

Illuminating my night sky

Showing me what its like to really have fun

From days where I have wanted to die

I now have you to show me what it's like to really be alive

Shining through my grey clouds

I now have no doubts

Lavender haze and lilac skies

Makes me feel as though I can fly

You truly have made it known

That through my rain and pain

With you, there will always be a rainbow
