Hold my hand

John

It's like I'm inside a rattle

And the babies shaking me

We both can't speak

It's all just sound

And I'm bouncing around a waiting room

Nervous to enter but wanting answers

The toy tick tocks as it rolls over, like my mind

The outside silent, inside butterflies long for escape

Wishing for a rainbow

A Promise
