Joy of Death

uglykavi

In Unbearable pain-
We ask for death.
In Unbearable defeat-
We ask for death.
One who accepts
difficulties and challenges,
striving hard against odds-
wins in death.
One who doesn't accept defeat-
Is he really defeated?
What does one say
when death is near?
You seek loved ones.
You meet loved ones.
You talk to loved ones.
Why then we waste
time in hatred?
Friends, time is precious.
Appropriate it without fear.
Death will take them away.
Death will embrace you.
All of us will be dead.
Who needs to fear?
Who wants to live in fear?
Pain and sufferings
are part of life.
Some have it more.
Is it really so much more?
No one dies quiet.
Everyone has final words.
Match your words with actions.
Lift life to a different level.
Sufferings and Difficulties
are a ladder.
Embrace the Truth.
Get ahead of everyone.
Uplift one and all.
Live a life.
Die in Joy.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is an English translation of my last Hindi poem "मौत का सुख". I have written this as I thought many a times about writing about death, struggle and success. This is dedicated to the Many who strived for Justice against all odds.
