Justice

John

I was sitting on the porch, Rainy night

Blinded by the forrest, its apparent solitude dampened further by the heavens

Its bark weakened by the hours

Its bed a flood of tears

A clap from God Ignights it with fears

But rebounded throughout its trunks were the calls of wolves

A comforting sound to bond and bound

The pack break into my sight

The moonlight reflects off their eyes like a spotlight

As the bark from the trees melt,  the hounds whimper and beg

Inside my cabin it's comfortable and snug

I sip a warm milk

Stopping my shudder, their babies wanting mummies udder

I go inside to bed

And dream of a storm

I awake to silence at dawn

Relieved and awake I roll over on my side

To my horror the forrest has intruded and concluded my wife

The wolves are asleep at the end of my bed

Snoring and well fed
