Alan R

I am the wildflower

Rooting for you to

Soar high in the Alps, my dear

I'm happy to own the the sky from down here

A wildflower that

Didn't seek to be found

I belonged to the woods, like a nowhere breeze

Resilent everyday, until it started to freeze

I'm in your journal now

Next to the stories you write

With the words, that come and go in vain

Owning the silence, you couldn't explain.
