My first Love letter by Eric Wanton.

David Wakeling

Dear Melissa,
I know , to you I am invisible, a sad ghost,
A shadow that smiles at you and always hides.
Unable to find the words to express how I feel.
You think I am this awkward clown in a mask.

I know that, you are as divine as the angels,
Just to know you would be to have a life fulfilled.
To touch your cheek would set my spirit free.
And to be with you when you laugh would be heavenly.

I know that I am unworthy of your time,
I am chosen to have an outcast life.
It is written in the Tarot cards, I cannot fight anymore.

Tonight I will walk to the Willow tree,
I will tie the rope around my neck.
And I will look up at the night sky above,
And close my eyes to Love.

Farewell from Eric.
