Hope

John

I've been in a submarine the past decade

Drowning in darkness

Jack rolled down the hill and Jim came tumbling after

A Pint half empty, lonely and longing to be filled

Always had the thumb out, but never acknowledged

Just roadkill again

In a nest above, an eaglet, barely alive opens his beak

As he smells something in the air

Truly superb. You evoke emotion in the scene.
