Shivering and Damp with No Way Out

Forrest

It's not raining

You know your potential

The days shake by

And it's luck to see it all

Really it's just cold

You're always up

For anything

At least you used to be

My jackets going dark

So maybe it's change

And when you're finally ok

I'll flip it on it's head

A fog settles down

Take it all of and

Be something large

Imposing and bright

All the water falls at once

O emotions to be

You wish away

But will childishly accept

Flood the Earth?

I can't stand you

This life skill

Of never asking to be born

An arc two of each

Deadline and in vain

Shoulders soft feather scars

Maybe forgetting is easier

I'm alone here so I drown

Silence isn't real

Believe me I tried
