Mirror, Mirror

Constant0123456789

            Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,

Judge me as you judge them all,

I stand before you proud and strong,

Reflect to me where I belong.

            Mirror, Mirror, silver glass,

Your flattery is highest class,

To see the beauty oh so grand,

I am proud of where I stand.

            Mirror, Mirror, glow and shine,

To know this beauty here is mine,

No greater blessing could you give,

This reflection gives me will to live.

            Mirror, Mirror, something’s wrong,

Why do you sing a different song?

Is it because to me you lied?

Why do you, my beauty hide?

Mirror, Mirror, what is this pain?

What is it from me you wish to gain?

Your insults sting, like broken shards,

And leave my soul burned and charred.

            Mirror, Mirror, free me now,

I don’t know when, I don’t know how,

When did you claim my soul as yours?

When did I lose these unknown wars?

            Mirror, Mirror, let me go,

My trust in you has brought me woe,

How is it that I’m no longer me,

Why can’t I, my reflection see?

Mirror, Mirror, I’ve played your game,

The outcome shall always be the same,

I look into my reflection’s eyes,

And hear her words as my mouth cries.

            Mirror, Mirror, where’d she go?

What is it that she wished to know?

I die a little every time,

She traps me in the mirror’s crime.

                                                             Oh, Mirror, Mirror.

The rhyme and flow are both excellent
    Thoroughly enjoyed the read
I'm not sure if it's about aging or perhaps seeing something you dont like
I am sure you are talented
    Great writing
