Afterlife

Jace

I don't wanna be here anymore
So I'm going to the afterlife
Don't wanna live no more
So I'm going to the afterlife
Life is hard so I'm hoping death is easier
Hoping that this journey is just a little bit clearer
So I'm going to the afterlife
Just let me do this
Gotta see what death is like
Bitch I'm going to the afterlife
Don't try to talk me out of it
I've already made up my mind
Nothing you do or say
Will make me change my mind
It's just my time
My time to go
My time to disappear into the afterlife
Maybe I'll be able to find friends down there
Which I was never really able to do up on Earth
Struggled fitting in since birth
Always felt like the outcast
Couldn't surpass
The feeling
Hoping I'll be able to fit in, in the afterlife
So I think this is my final goodbye
See you on the other side
The other side of life
Don't worry I'll teach you the ins and outs of the afterlife
Once it's your time
Once you get here
So this is me saying my final goodbyes

Damn
Now I'm just six feet in the ground
Whenever you're looking for me just look down
Look around
No one is mourning my death
But that is what I expected
I just injected
Deadly toxins into my body
That stopped my vital organs
From working
So now I'm in the afterlife
Trust me, I don't regret it
So much more peaceful in the afterlife
No more voices in the afterlife
No more trying to please everyone
No more trying to hide the real me
The one who's always hiding behind a brick wall
The ones who was always locked up
The one I always told to shut the fuck up
He's finally allowed to speak
And feel free
From all the negativity
No more pain
No more shame
I feel so much peace in the afterlife
Finally can get a good nights sleep in the afterlife
No more nightmares
No more constantly, randomly
Waking up with fear
So much better down here
In the afterlife
Finally made some friends
Who will be with me til the end
Finally accepted my past
I finally feel happiness
At last
I finally feel peace
I finally feel free
So glad that I came to the afterlife

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
