Tears Roll Down Her Cheeks

Summersounds68

Tears roll down her cheeks,
she is the daughter of the chief,
he recently passed to his spirit world
where the departed of the Cherokee Nation go,
community feast is held by the tribe
as the Shaman leads the prayers,
seven days are observed in honor of his passing,
her father from above wipes away the tears.

You have honored the ceremonies of our indiginous people in this poem, beautifully. The picture is priceless. Well done dear poet!
