Lord Speak

John Lee

They think that I'm lonely

They don't know it's only

The silent absence of you

It's not friends that I need

No woman that's for me

It's what I'm missing from you

I look for your footprints

But they've left me behind

I won't tire from searching

I know somehow I'll find

The place that I belong

Lord Jesus, I need you now

I speak to you in Psalm

I listen, but don't know how

How do I hear

How do I heal

I just need you to speak to me Lord

‘Cause I don't want to hurt anymore
