I'll never have you

B.E.Poet

I created a fantasy, a world filled with my deepest desires.
And you were one of them
You were the person that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with
But all dreams, at some point, come to an end
The reality is that you never knew how I felt about you; how much I wanted to kiss you
And the other reality is that we're both broken
And two broken people can't fix each other
And it hurts to see that we've grown apart
That we can't see each other eye to eye
But maybe I created an illusion that was never meant to happen
And maybe I'm just destined to want the girl I will never have

  • Comment from author about the poem: Hi guys! It's been a while since I've posted any poetry, and a lot has happened during that time. I've been thinking about what to write, and to this date, I write about what hurts most. I have to admit that I only like girls and the person I loved has decided to no longer be a part of my life, which is what this poem is about. I hope you guys enjoy it.
