Don't Let Life Break Your Soul (A Beautiful Symphony)

mtrotter1

I don't trust anyone

Therefore my heart is cold;

I am tempted to be the misanthrope

That everyone hates

Oh bells and flowers

Don't seem pretty anymore,

I will drag your name through the mud

If you drag mine...

And always remember

You are one with society

And none of you

Are people of God

The family who hurt me,

For you break my soul

Again and again

Yet I am still here...

Am I the emotional Moses you fear?

Yes my heart is very cold

And I shall slay you,

For society is a cold factor in this game

And people are evil

Because they choose to be;

Nobody is a contender

Unless they make themselves one

And the roses shall fall

Upon vicious souls

Who use other people

For a temporary gain,

Oh don't play games with me

For you don't know

What I'm capable of

For I will push you off this ledge

And watch you die;

Pretty flowers will never break my soul

But people will

And that is fine,

For you will get your personal hell

Later on;

Oh roses, roses

How could you be so pretty

When no one appreciates you?

You grow so tall

In the midst of adversity

And your feelings are valid

On a road that is less traveled;

To the broken souls who are hurt

People will get their karma

For trying to pluck your petals

Off your soul,

And to narcissistic mothers and fathers

And to narcissistic friends and foes

And to narcissistic people in general...

Your words and your actions

Will never matter to me,

Therefore my heart is cold.

Behold the world crashing down

For we shall all sleep eternally--

I shall bond with my pretty flowers

In peace.

Don't let life break your soul, empaths

For we constantly have to fight

For the pain that we face is crucial

Trust no one, for no one trusts us...

For evil is good; and good is evil

The world will never appreciate us.

And I'm not giving up--

I shall slay these dark demons

And hear them squeal;

Sweet dreams, you wasteful beings.
