Wait for Me

Thoughtless

We were kids on the slope. Our life together a carnival rocket ride.

Our love a tilt-a-whirl beneath those downy covered skies.

There were tsunamis with us against the universe or so we believed.

Gone now, I sometimes stand by your little farm and its marker.

It rains and then the sun shines.

We'll meet again.
