Chasing

John Lee

I've searched for you in

Everyone else

And they've left me broken

Without your help

I ignored all the signs

Every time I find you

Abusing yourself

Loving nothing true

Have you ever felt

The love you've missed is mine

I've been chasing

Don't you know I know

Everywhere you've been

I wish you knew I do

So cherish you within

I'm tired of chasing

Our lives are fading

Don't you know I know

Everyone, everything, everywhere

I wish you knew that I never cared

I'm here, still chasing

A love you're wasting

When you finally see

And come back to me

My love for you

Is the same as it was new
