I don't want to jinx,
Not getting bigheaded like the Great Sphinx.
Better than ever,
Becoming quite clever.
Finding that inner peace,
Creating my own steady niche.
Not getting bigheaded like the Great Sphinx.
Better than ever,
Becoming quite clever.
Finding that inner peace,
Creating my own steady niche.

Great men/women are not always wise. Who said that?! It's Job 32 v.9 in Old Testament, but I don't think Job says it himself. It's Elihu, one of Job's comforters'.
But I expect you're wise! Well, it don't say 'Great men are NEVER wise'! lol.
I prefer the Old Testament so much more than the new, I thought the new one was too watered down.
There's parts of the Old that are rough, violent, horrific. Some bits of the New are too. Not all of it though - old or new!
Yeah I understand, I dunno the overall messaging and morals mean't more to me in that and I think they were watered down in the new.
They may seem to be watered down in places in the New. But using a 'spiritual' word, the New can be milder, with Jesus as the propitiation for our sins - appeasing, or atoning, bringing mildness into the relationship of a loving God, yet angry at those who persist in sins. So it's not mild in places in the Old, but 'raw', harsh, no mercy after a while.
Meanwhile - you wiser?! Got one brain cell more now, like I have?! lol.
Yes, I understand what you are saying there.
