I Was Hurt

B.E.Poet

I was hurt and burned with fire
Ur love was an instant gratification that led to no real contemplation
U weren't true love, just a girl with no defined purpose
A girl who was willing to play with my feelings just to redeem the lack of love in her life

To you, I gave of myself
A part of me I seldom give
For fear of losing my inner wealth
My insatiable will to live
Set me free, or hold me close
Give to me your honest sincerity
Like a storm, love comes and goes
If it's meant to be it'll live indefinitely
