there is much hunger here and a thirst I can feel ..
As is common with you, your words are captivating and pregnant with meaning. I loved the imagery from beginning to end. The first line vivid but also creative, the second line following up made great sense for someone scavenging then I imagined the play on words that could be associated with your desert and the word dessert. This would put a different twist to the meaning. The middle line "In picture-book perfect gales brought an abrupt stop to the top thought and like the gale indeed blew away the phisical image created in the first stanza transforming it into the last stanza, a metaphor from the physical to the emotional. A most wonderful transformation and wonderful ride on that picture-book perfect gale indeed.
And a sigh of satisfaction issues upward
As the reading both constructs and unravels
Arriving at that junction between composing and decrypting
Both capturing and releasing, elevating joint possession
Carving out fresh representations of timeless truths!
