Meant To

Introverted Sage

And as the waves crashed in
I knew what I was meant to do.
Hell, who am I kidding?
I have always known.
Like, this was
Bred in me.
Made for this.
Like coded.
Preset course.
I can choose it
Or it chooses me.
When I am ready
I will choose it back.
Because I know it.
And it knows me.
Has know me
As I It.

Is that too strong a word?
When the insincerity of the days
Blows colder than frostbite.
To see again.
To feel.
What would that mean?
All of it - rushing and pushing
And making its way to, in and

All of Me.
So that I may see.
Finally be free.
Release what has been holden
To me.

And so it says
Is All we need.
Shackled to greed
It’s the way to be free.
Shown the way
From the deepest parts of me.
Since been decreed.
Message or inbreath
Or when we wept.
I can’t keep living like this.
Embodying what I heed.
Encircling the Air I breathe.
My mind continues the weave.

Gracious for the ways.
In which my mind behaves.
Letting Love walk in its place.
Revealing to me - its true face.
While the meant to be’s
Continue marching in their place.
