Footsteps

John Lee

Footsteps

In the sanctuary of your heart,

A sacred space I've found

Grant me the freedom to wander,

To freely roam around

Each chamber, a testament,

To our love's embrace

I'll trace its contours

Leaving traces of grace

My footsteps echo softly,

Traversing its halls

Every corner, a memory,

As our love enthralls

Should distance ever part us,

Leaving us in pain

Follow the echoes of my love,

And find me again
