Dove

sea12

Like doves over the sea

I am finally free

The balloons held by me

Blue, red, yellow, then green

Float, float

Until out of sight

My wrist is red and sore

Someone tied the balloons too tight

They kept asking if I wanted more

And I said yes. (Why?)

I bid a fond farewell to all those colors

See ya later, alligators

Off you go to find another

To attach like feathers

And once again

My soul is light

Finally.

weightless, smooth
