It's My Fault

Dev Parth

In the silence of remorse, where guilt abides,
I face the truth, where my fault hides.
Through the echoes of my mistakes, I sigh,
In humility, I accept responsibility, no alibi.
With each breath, I acknowledge my part,
In the melody of regret, heavy on my heart.
But in accountability, I seek to mend,
For it's my fault, yet I'll strive to amend.

I blame myself, so you won't have to
But if you do, your words are true
Give in to grace as I seek your face
We can mend what I broke at your pace
Nothing can replace what was felt
On that dreadful day of pain I dealt
