Three, three - it is everywhere in literature, et al.

For some reason it’s the magic number, third time lucky, and all.
I missed the plane. I took four minutes to freshen up beforehand! lol.
There's a shortage of threes now!
Wow not a minute to spare! Prolly £300 to change the ticket as well.
Time stops for no man. A sense of urgency here and almost a sense of finality? The number three is magical and is equated to the trinity. Mentioned three times twice it leaves a feel of incompletion in that expectation that it will come once more to complete a series of nine.

Pushback for me is when I'm sitting on that flight waiting to go, as I have more than one home in the world I feel your poem has brought a large amount of nostalgia to me, very nicely done. 🌹
