Corpse #1

Hugh

The push and pull of salts
Osmosis
Skin as a membrane
Natures balance
The sun on my back
Fish nibbling at my toes
My fingers, my nose
Rocking gently
In tune with the sea
In time with the tides
For a time again
After leaving
My silt covered bed
Lifted
By gas filled cavities
Until they expel
A feast for fish
And drifting downwards
Arms outstretched
I fall into bed
Again
