City Living

Holly Anne

Living in a city surrounded by crowds of people from various walks of life

noticing the wonderful bright lights during the night

can bring one such tremendous delight

although the city has so much life

it can bring excruciating feelings of loneliness

in London there is such a sense

of that rat race

many people in the underground rushing around

feeling like a sardine in a can

to find a free space

wondering was it all worth the plan

to study overseas for a better life

reflecting and once put into perspective

realising that the opportunities, connections and finding love

in the darkest of places

one can discover happiness.
