Writer's block

Revernd21

My soul crave to lay down words on paper

But the sheet remain empty

My heart heavy, desperate for relief

But it grows heavier by the day

My inner being ready to forge a new masterpiece

But the words refuse to create the picture

My creativity on the brink of freedom

But is held back like a bird in a cage

  • Comment from author about the poem: Forgive me ladies and gentlemen, this ain't my usual writing style. I have this urge to write but it seems like I can't find the words. I wrote this with the hope that it'll ignite a spark of inspection but we'll have to see lol

We get this at times, I think. But now here's your poem about it!

Lmao your comment made me feel much better about myself. I wrote it out of frustration so I'm glad the curse is broken for now
