SEVEN SUMMERS

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

You never saw my tears
As I turned my back to leave
Hidden in my smile
Inside a silent scream

Along a well worn path
We had walked so many times
Hidden in seven summers
Bereft of your lies.

For I loved you without thought
In a very special way
That a young man could not express
Until he walked away.
