The Father

Eve is at fault for taking the forbidden bite,
But what does that make of the Father,

Unable to forgive the mistake of his fetus?If God was incapable of forbearing a mere taste of freedom,
Is the glimpse of our salvation, solely, our punishment?

      The Adam and Eve story is simply that, a story. I don’t really see your point.

        I see it as a true story. Eve set off things in a downhill direction, by giving in to the temptation of eating from the forbidden tree, then Adam ate also. Through them all humans inherit their sinful nature, and so needing Christ for our salvation.
