We All

We all try

When things get tough

Sometimes we'll cry

 

We all feel 

Whether it's happy or sad

It's something that happens

And we all deal

 

We all live

For purposes sometimes unknown 

But there's good in all of us

Not always shown

 

We all sin

Against one another and ourselves

We separate each other

Different people on different shelves

 

And there's one more thing

Something thought of as lies

We are all equal

And together

We can all rise
