Chronos versus kairos—the end
will soon decide, now every vein
will feel upon the pulse a blend;
blood will beat and surge, and the pain
reveal the wasted minutes slain
in endless struggles to the knife;
yet kairos time will surely gain
some wisdom, meaning from the strife.
