Soulmates

In the shadows of our thoughts,

In so many waves, all sorts,

Many winds to different ports,

Many fights, vanquished by swords,

On the perfect canvas, dots.

Drops of fear like heavy gear,
Drops of literal anguish stir,
To fulfill they would occur...
You were here, were you near?
Purest drops of rain, most clear,
Blurred your vision, did you hear?
In a dream that seemed so real.

Rays of light have graced our sight,
Flashing darkness in the night,
Blends the fusion, more confusion.
Who's the killer, who's the knight?
Who's the winner of the fight?
Was it right? It just might...
More to show, more to hide,
The most fearless fear inside.
In the shadow of our pride,
And in many seas the tide
Kissed a mermaid, or a bride?

In our fate, or in our will,
In the greatest strength of steel,
In our hopes, revived we feel,
Resigned, begging for some deal.
You were near, did you kneel?
To the sea, to turn more teal,
To the sun, or clouds who steal,
To the wind who paints surreal,
Like an infant, did you squeal?

Have you prayed with me at times?Have you made or felt some vibes?
Have you laughed loud at some crimes,
When the shivers on our spines
Would strike fiercely, sharpest knives!

Did you feel? Was it real?
Did you cry with me in vain?
Did you murder, kiss the rain?
Did you scream, were you lame?
Lost in drifting, lost in pain,
Tired, lonely with no clue,
And our feelings darkest blue,
When the prophecy came true
Brightest vision, clearest view,
Brought to light our deja vu!
