A stone heart

shadow king

A twilight echo of sadness

Flickering in the depths of my mind

Where thoughts dwell in search for light

Where time feels like a endless prison

Shadows clouding the radiant smiles

With unknown depths

With a mirage of oasis appearing everywhere

Creeping shadows and broken bridges

A gloomy tale and a painful smile

With scales of memories on my walls of thoughts

Dried up lakes of tears

Barren lands of hope

A radiant star out of hands reach

With a glimmering sense of hope

Paddling through the life

With fake smiles

Broken trust

Painful scars

Lessons for a lifetime to be learnt or repeated.
