Monsalvat

davmor73

A dove descends, and children’s hymns

from darkened, pointed arches grace

the silver wings; daylight dims,

time transfigured turns into space

where crystal red fires every face

with the colour of salvation.

Sacred blood is drunk; souls embrace

the mystery of redemption.
