With a silent and tearful goodbye,
Approaches the shatter of heartache,
Head rushes with scathing memories,
Suffocating in the deserted shadows,
Trying to salvage what remains,
As they buried you, instead of me.

I noticed the date
Yet it still feels as raw and emotional today
And all I did was read
