If hellhounds were horses

Primrose

The eyes of a demon

A soul black as coal

Gnashing of teeth

With an unsettling goal

The clicking of hooves

As they prowl the grounds

Watching for intruders

It’s a hellish sound

This guardian demon

Made of fire and coal

Keeps out intruders

Looking for innocent souls

Such beautiful creatures

Mane and tail made of fire

Eerily watching

Knowing your deepest desires

These beasts so terrifying

Their intent is not to harm

But to keep this place safe

Guarding their farm

A beautiful black

A tad bit on fire

These beastly creatures

Provide protection from ire
