Secrets Of Love

mtrotter1

I am a rose,

Take care of me softly

And softly I will take care of you

With tender whispers abroad

I am desperately in awe of you

In the back of both our minds

We know that temptation strikes

And both our words become fatal; bedroom confessions

For soft pillows and soft sheets align

I am the whispering Barbie

And you are my fatal Ken

And mentally we are aware of the war,

The war that is between us...

Is there something that is missing

Inside of me?

For I suade the waves of my body

Trembling to the curves of your hands

And heavy breathing escalates between the walls

Come get me between the halls

For the secrets of love are sacred

Between you and I

And colorful roses light up the night

With psychedelic tears;

Drown me in the ocean

Of wet tears,

Give me a reason to love you again

For there is no body in this careless whisper

Except the mind--

And I twist and turn

In awe of you

What desperate imagination casts such spells?

For you are always on my mind

Forget the mindless words,

For you cloud my mind with no judgment

Therefore I twist my back for you

And almost anything I do for you

Is worth dying for,

Would you twist your back for me

In the secrets of love?

For William Shakespeare is bloody these days;

Twist these rosebuds

And eat them in dismay,

I want to die in the clouds

With you;

Is this the end of our destiny,

Or is it the beginning of our death?

For the devil wears green.
