That's Soldier's face i readily can recall
The one in picture frame on bar room wall
He died in Ireland many miles away
A victim of the bombs of I R A
I feel shame at what my Country men have done
By such foul act no cause is ever won
The right to life is only man's to give
And Louis Mountbatten you had a right to live.
'Oh' bar tender please pull another beer
I am the only Irish person here
The rock band loud and deafening to the ear
And the words of vocalist i scarce can hear.
And Louis Mountbatten keep staring down at me
His very face bring back sad memory
My fellow Countrymen bring on me shame
The callous things they do in Ireland's name.
A victim of the bombs of I R A
No one deserve to die in such a way
'Oh' bar tender please pull another beer
I am the only Irish person here.

Troubled tiimes. Pleased they are in the last. I remember when the King’s Uncle Dickie died. Enjoy your beer and drink to peace. Your stanzas are nicely rhymed. I enjoyed my visit. Happy Tuesday.
