Wild Eyes

Noah Malice

Yes I know you're a dreamer
See it in your eyes
Always looking straight through
All the stars in the sky

And what's waiting up there
Is unknown to me
But the way that it grips you
Is too plain to see

With those wild staring eyes
You pierce right through my soul
Like a comet coming down
And burning like coal

And the world keeps turning
As it tends to do
But you don't seem to notice
I guess that's just you

With those wild staring eyes
Shining bright like diamonds
You leave me such a wreckage
And broken up like islands

In the sea I am surrendered
It's all I can do
But you don't seem to notice
I guess that's just you

      Smooth poetry.

The inaccessibility of the other penned with a degree of resignation.

I understood it (I think) perfectly.

I'm a bit of a snob when it to reading others poetry. But here I am and there you are, enjoyed your words. The use of the Universal language was a good choice.
