Rosa is the name- it never sits right with me to use the past tense,
The epitome of love, we are snug in her benevolence
Always keen to rub vengeance and vehemence
Close to her rossary, first to tithe-prayerful in the smoke of incence,
In a world so dark, she would torch light of relevance and pertinence
They say age is just a number but nine decades is enough to master life's essence,
That's why she would glare into my eyes and seethe in insistence,
Enjoy the present; live and love more- be sure to cherish existence
Rest in eternal tranquility and silence...
