JUST

Holly Anne

just is a word,

many of us use.

it can be useful,

in certain situations.

in others,

it may be interpreted as useless,

unworthy, unfit,

some of us use it purely, out of habit.

‘’I’m just a nurse’’

i’ve caught myself saying, out load today.

i've realised I want to make a change,

i’ve learned it can be a self-depreciating expression.

from this experience i have absorbed an invaluable lesson.

i am not just a nurse.
