In my head you're still there
They still say you were only a minor
But you hurt me without a care
Covering my pain with thick eyeliner
Finding myself back in the present
Only to realize it was a flashback
It weighs in my mind like cement
Hyperventilating until it all goes black
You took years of my childhood
It adds up to over half my life now
Would you take it back if you could?
If only life would allow
