Love hurts

Princesslove

In my heart, you will always dwell

Though you’re not mine

Still I wish you well

How I miss your presence

And the way you smell

I can no longer suppress my feelings for you

Because the love we share is deep and true

We may not be together

But our souls constantly yearn each other

It hurts not having you in my life

Therefore, all I can say is

Good luck to you and your wife

I remember when we both fell madly in love

A love beautiful just as a dove.

    Unrequited love. This I understand.
    Keep writing.

How it hurts when the one you love is tied to another. A poem I feel sure will be relatable. Conveyed with feeling.
