Take It Down

Dev Parth

Take it down, the walls that bind,

Let freedom's breeze ease troubled mind.

In dismantling barriers, find release,

Embrace the journey, let worries cease.

Take it down, the weight you bear,

Let burdens lift into the air.

In shedding layers, rediscover light,

As shadows fade into the night.

Take it down, the masks we wear,

Reveal the truth, let honesty flair.

In vulnerability, find strength untold,

As authenticity becomes your stronghold.

Take it down, let love be found,

In open hearts, true connections abound.

In tearing down walls, we truly see,

The beauty of what it means to be free.

We build walls to protect ourselves from further hurt. However once built they can be isolating and difficult to dismantle. Takes courage, but brick by brick leads to freedom. You express this beautifully Dev. Another fine poem from your talented pen.
