The first boy I've cried over

When we first reunited
I thought the heavens above had answered my call
After many years of longing
But I never expected to feel so much pain
I wish you all the best with the other woman like before
Because how many more years do I have
And I have lost faith in you again
Not me
But you
They say once bitten twice shy
But clearly, I have learnt my lesson too late
That a leopard can never change its spots
So now I can only hope that I will never have to suffer the same torment again
When will I finally have my happy ending?
