Forsake

Skaar

Why would you ever compare?

Why did you even try?

Were you hurt by my actions?

Did you want a fresh start?

Do you think over a little?

Does he question my existence now?

Why is his love so much greater?

Why is mine halved?

Well, I could project what’s right,

But that wouldn’t mean its mine for keeping.

And I could wither my feelings but

Whether you feel it

Is a different ordeal.

Yet I hope you see me still,

Maybe someday feel it too.

From yours forsaken,

To forsaking you.
