A Dream Is A Dream Of Itself

mtrotter1

I fall by the riverside

As I belong to you--

There is a world out there

Touching the very keys to my soul

I look at my childhood, and I wonder

What if the sky was never blue?

Behold the birds of the past

For there is no mystery,

For love is fully nude in its nature

I gasp and I wonder even more

When will the secrets be revealed?

A dream within a dream within a law

Is the rarest form of discrepancy

Two rare buildings embrace themselves

In the heart of the city;

What rare climbs can we get to this point?

For the rarest of the rarest sees minds,

What am I thinking now

Within the tallest of trees?

What is this world without love?

My dreams are your dreams across the sky

For the sky is earth in its feelings

I dare you to walk across the heights

Of a self-inflicting love

And I take this heart-shaped box of mine

And cast it along the river

For love is blind...where are the shadows?

For the shadows within are mine

Glory, glory, childhood

Where are the lies?

The broken piece of a butterfly remains...

If a dream is good, then it's good

But if it's bad, it stains

True love comes across my mind like a leaf

For I am already heartbroken, at last

And I am lost in a lake that is now tears

Whisper to me your deepest fears

For I see an angel with her halo

Eternity strikes me in the middle path

For my middle path is sacred.
