Do I make you Nervous?

Do you want to leave, do I make you nervous?

I cannot believe, that I make you blue,

Is it really true, that I make you anxious?

There must be a way is there something I can do.

 

Come on rest awhile, no need to be shy now,

Come on baby smile, sit down near to me,

There's no need to go, I won't make you cry now,

There must be a way, I can set you free.

 

Oh no, do I make you nervous,

Oh no, do I make you blue,

Oh no, do I make you anxious,

Baby stay while, is there something I can do.

 

I was walking slow, along the streets of sadness,

Passed by your window, and I wished for more, 

I said to myself, go and give some gladness,

Open up the door, what else are we living for?

 

When you answered the door you looked so shy,

Why not let me in and we'll talk about it,

I think its time for you to learn to fly,

You just need a friend no need to fight it.

I know your hurting you had bad times before,

But that's all over , it wont happen anymore,

I am here to teach you how to breathe,

I'm not going to run I'm not going to leave.

    Song lyrics and I like the message and the repetition. Meeting new people can make you nervous, particularly if a recent relationship has left you suffering. Takes time and courage, one step at a time. Have a good Wednesday David.
