A Vision

Joakim Bergen

Fragments unbound

Return to center,

Mingle with the whole;

The mouth of anus.

I shan’t become stone,

No Gorgon I fear

For I am bone and meat.

I pull from within the light

And weave future Babylon

Upon the crystal sands.

But there is no future.

Long is Now, eternal and

Cold as January’s frost.

The Sun’s long, granite

Shadow blankets me as

Mother did before.

Black Sun, all-Sun;

You shine in me.

I am light-less light.

Shadow-less dark.

Endless are my hands.

Thousand my eyes.

I shall tear the Heavens!

For love, yes, love!

Comrades of fire, lost

Souls shattered upon

The anvil of God!

You are free, free of

Commanded love.
