Blessed be the name, God's name
The name of endless fame
For ever and ever
His glory fades never
For wisdom, mercy, they be His
They be found in Him, true is this
And He changes the times
And seasons in life's rhymes
He removes, and does set
Up kings in His plans yet
His gives wisdom unto the wise
His gifts to them He not denies
And He gives knowledge to
Them that understand too
He reveals of the deep
And secret things, does keep
Us in His way, and he does know
What is in the dark, it does show
And the light with Him dwells
I thank you, each tongue tells
Your praise, God of ages
Through history's pages
You reveal dreams, you wisdom's fount
Knowing all things without a doubt
